The big challenge is to maintain the characteristics of the dish freshly made by the chef during transport. How to do this?

There are 3 solutions:

1. Menu engineering

Not all dishes are suitable for transport; a delivery menu partially different from that served at the table must be defined. Spaghetti, to cite one example, is not suitable for delayed consumption; it can get brown, absorb too much sauce and be 'sticky'.

2. Food containers

Over time at Merryday we have selected those that, in our experience, are the most appropriate. You will find them in our online shop

3. Delivery Boxes

The range of patented temperature-controlled food containers. The 3 available models give you ample flexibility for the delivery of hot and cold dishes. You can configure each Delivery Box by creating the microclimate best suited to the type of order.

Even on long runs, the high insulating power keeps the preparations at a temperature above 65°C or below 10°C. The safety and quality of preservation allows drivers to serve multiple customers in a single outing, optimising costs and delivery times.
